The NFL agreed to pay as much as $1 billion to players with brain injuries. The NFL fought hard, and the lawyers who won the case deserve to be paid. Their legal work helped improve—and save—lives. But, as always, remember your oath! Lawyers who represent many clients at once have a duty to each individual client, and the legal fee, of course, must always be reasonable and fair.
